Angels on the Moon -Thriving Ivory-

This song was introduced by Yu Ming some time ago. this guy has this unique voice singing this song.. and i felt the song is quite touching (dunno why, maybe that i am just emo or quite frustrated these days.) I think this world should have more voices like his. This is the video i am talking about.

Do you dream
That the world will know your name
So tell me your name
Do you care
About all the little things or anything at all

I wanna feel
All the chemicals inside
I wanna feel
I wanna sunburn
Just to know I'm alive
To know that I'm alive

Don't tell me if I'm dying
Cause I don't wanna know
If I can't see the sun
Maybe I should go
Don't wake me cause I'm dreaming
Of angels on the moon
Where everyone you know
Never leaves too soon

Do you believe
In the day that you were born
Tell me do you believe?
Do you know
That everyday's the first of the rest of your life

Don't tell me if I'm dying
Cause I don't wanna know
If I can't see the sun
Maybe I should go
Don't wake me cause I'm dreaming
Of angels on the moon
Where everyone you know
Never leaves too soon

This is to one last day in the shadows
And to know a brother's love
This is to New York City angels
And the rivers of our blood
This is to all of us
To all of us

Don't tell me if I'm dying
Cause I don't wanna know
If I can't see the sun
Maybe I should go
Don't wake me cause I'm dreaming
Of angels on the moon
Where everyone you know
Never leaves too soon

You can tell me all your thoughts
About the stars that fill polluted skies
And show me where you run to
When no one's left to take your side
But don't tell me where the road ends
Cause I don't wanna know
No I don't wanna know

Don't tell me if I'm dying
Don't tell me if I'm dying

  1. Okay, whoa, it sounds to me like you are implying that the person who wrote or sings this song has AIDS if I am not mistaken. I work with the management of this band and if that is what you're implying that is completely untrue. And, for your information the person who wrote the song is not the person who sings the song. Scott Jason is the pianist/songwriter for Thriving Ivory and Clayton Stroope is the singer. Both are 100% healthy. I get google alerts on the band name which is how I ran across this. Once again, if you were talking about someone else and I misread your post, then I apologize, but you should really re-word what you said because it's misleading. Thank you, Dianna Arnspiger

  2. [Dianna Arnspiger] i sincerly apologise to you and the band for my comments. My words are misleadings, the person i mean was my friend and not the band. I've reedited the post and i hope that it wont cause any misleading info to the band. Hope the band can continue to produce quality songs like this in the future. Yours sincerly, Yeh Sheong.
